He is also co-author of Building Java Programs: It is a well written book that focuses on the basics of learning a programming language without getting lost among “hot” topics like OO, IDE’s, or GUI’s. New supplementary materials, videos, online practice problems, updates, fixes, and more.
As a third note I think that editiom is important to mention that the authors seem to have thought progarms including inappropriate cultural references to make the programming more interesting was a great idea and it was not a great idea.
